   After 25 years in the travel industry and over 40 years of international travel it’s time to spread around, via The Travel Insider, the experience, expertise and knowledge gathered over these years and see if anybody out there is interested in listening.

   By Vehicle… to the North Cape in Norway……to Tierra del Fuego…. Alaska and Inuvik, NWT down to the end of the Baja and all over Australia, New Zealand and South Africa…..most States in the USA (the Four Corners country and the four corners from Seattle to Key West and Maine to San Diego), most Provinces in Canada, up to Inuvik via The Dempster Highway……25,000 kms in 55 days from Rio de Janeiro and back thru Brazil Argentina, Bolivia Peru, Chile in a ’73 Mercedes and a ’59 Austin…(an historic car rally)…A 348 spider from Modena to London via the QE2 to New York and across to Vancouver, BC….the long way, but quite quick! Coastal drives….Mountain drives….Desert drives….Patagonia drives….Europe and Scandinavia drives…..Africa Safari drives….Bush drives….Tundra drives.

   By Train….The Orient-Express from London to Venice…The Blue Train from Johannesburg to Cape Town….The Indian-Pacific from Sydney to Perth…The old White Pass and Yukon to Skagway….The TGV from Paris to Marseille…The Tube!…The Metro! B.A.R.T! Amtrak and VIA Rail across the Rocky Mountains from Vancouver at least 6 times!……Durango-Silverton….Kuranda…The Trans-Alpine in New Zealand……next one to go….Copper Canyon!

   By Air….from a 1946 Fleet 80 (Canuck) across Canada and back across the USA to the Concorde across the Atlantic and from London to Cairo for the day to see the Pyramids!

   By Boat….from transatlantic on the QE2 to 10 Caribbean Windjammers, a Star Clipper to Belize and a private catamaran in the Australian Whitsunday Islands. Sportfishing off the New Zealand coast and salmon fishing in BC.

   Golf and Fly Fishing in UK, New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, France, Italy, Yugoslavia…….the best golf and fly fishing is of course – New Zealand!!!

   So far in 2003 - a Star Clipper Cruise to Belize out of Cozumel (now
discontinued) plus a week on the Yucatan - a 5 week truck/camper trip to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, the Yukon and British Columbia - Fly Fishing at Corbett Lake, BC for trophy rainbows - and now passing on that knowledge, experience and expertise to anyone who cares to subscribe to The Travel Insider.
